This is an end of terrace Georgian house converted in 1970 into a basement three bed flat (one room in No 30) and 4 one bed flats – all tenants have shared use of the communal garden at the rear of 28–32 Barnsbury Street.  The scheme was originally funded by the Greater London Council (GLC).
