The Association’s office is at 60 Morland Mews, London N1 1HN (between Lofting Road and Barnsbury Street – see “MAP” section). It is within walking distance of most of our 238 properties. The office is open Mon-Thurs from 9am–5.30pm, Fri 9am–1pm. We shut between 1.00pm and 2.00pm so that our staff can enjoy a peaceful lunchtime.
We do not, at present, accept direct applications for housing. All our nominations come from the London Borough of Islington via a nominations agreement. We assist whenever possible to facilitate mutual exchanges.
To find out who you need to contact read our brief job roles below and then click on the appropriate photo to send an Email directly to that person.

Geoff Lewis – Chief Executive
I head a small team of specialist personnel and oversee and assist each aspect of the Association's management operations from finance, housing need and expansion, development and general maintenance.I also have an active role on the BHA management board and take responsibility for ensuring that the regulations of the Tenant Services Agency and Islington Borough Council are complied with.

Jhanine - Office Administrator
I am the main point of contact for tenants, contractors and other callers both to the office and on the telephone. I direct callers to the appropriate staff member. I play a key role in providing administrative and secretarial support to the Chief Executive and all members of staff.

Jean Bull - Accounts Officer
I have the principal involvement in all aspects of BHA’s financial income and expenditure. This includes property rents, arrears, housing benefit income, recording, reconciling and payment of all invoices, monitoring expenditure for all repairs, major builds, calculation and payment of salaries, petty cash, plus calculating and implementing all property rent increases.

Luis Jarero - Contacts Manager
I am responsible for managing the housing maintenance and repair services together with all planned, cyclical, major repair and maintenance works. I provide technical advice and input on development projects and advise the Chief Executive on technical and contract management issues. I also liaise with the Maintenance Caretaker in supporting his maintenance work.

Richard Bull – Maintenance Caretaker
I have full responsibility for all aspects of tenants’ property maintenance and repairs together with the general maintenance within the estate, including the entire external estate cleaning and grass cutting. I also liaise with contractors to brief them to undertake more complex repairs, i.e. electrical, plumbing, boiler and roofing repairs etc. Tenants have access to my home telephone number should emergency repairs be required outside the normal office working hours.

Felicity Singh - Housing and Community Development Office
I provide a responsive one-stop full specialist housing management service to all tenants and prospective tenants in accordance with current policies and procedures. I am also responsible for developing a positive sense of community for both BHA tenants and within the London Borough of Islington by promoting initiatives and developments that meet the local community’s needs.

Mark - Maintenance Administrator
I have been recruited to bolster the BHA repairs and maintenance team. BHA recognises that we are entering a new era of accountability to tenants and we are pleased about this. I intend to monitor repairs to a greater extent than was previously possible. I want to become the first point of contact for repairs and I want to inspect every completed job to sign them off. I also propose to have regular meeting with the tenants to discuss how I’m progressing.

George - Office Cat
I’m one of the longest serving members of staff, in cat year’s I leave the rest of ‘em standing! My role has changed quite a bit over the years. I used to be chasing mice but I was so successful at that that we don’t get any now. In fact, I have little to do these days except to look good and be stroked – still someone’s got to do it so I suppose it might just as well be me.
