We are seeking to recruit a:  

Community Development Officer - £7000 per annum

For 10 hours per week on a fixed term contract from April 2011 to March 2012.

This is a new and exciting opportunity to work with all ages on a variety of projects including Fun days, sports and various outings.

We are seeking a dynamic team player who is energetic, experienced with budgets and applying for match funding.

What we require:

Skills & Abilities:

• Very strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work alongside a wide range of people - from the very young to older people.

Knowledge:

• Up to date knowledge of Health & Safety and other legislation pertaining to community engagement work.

Experience:

• Experience of developing and working with a range of community projects.
